Allergy Passport

Allergy Passport

After all relevant allergic tests have been performed and a clear diagnosis of your allergies is made, your allergologist will complete an allergy passport. The document’s purpose is to give vital allergic information in case you are unable to communicate yourself (car accident; fainting; anaphylactic shock, etc.). All relevant allergic information being immediately available to hospital/medical staff, your symptoms will be taken care of more quickly and more efficiently.

Having such a passport is especially important for life-threatening allergies (bee/wasp venom; anesthetic or pain relief medicine; food, etc.) which can trigger immediate and severe reactions, for which it is essential that medical help is immediately informed of this vital information.

This document is meant to be carried at all times for your safety.
